Black Bear is a 3 Bedroom 2 bath, hand built, full log, A-Frame Cabin with 3 Levels, outdoor Hot Tub Jacuzzi that is available year round, an indoor Wood Stove, and nice Outdoor Firepit area.

The cabin is located a few miles south of Harpers Ferry and nestled in the woods beside Mississippi River with gorgeous views of Paint Creek down below. Surrounding the property is 8,000 acres of the Yellow River State Forest, with miles of hiking, biking trails, and horseback riding trails.

Being very secluded and private with top notch trout fishing just beyond the front doorstep.

Things to Know

• Due to staff shortage & lack of a Large Laundry facility we currently have the cleaning fee discounted for renters to bring their own SHEETS, TOWELS, & PILLOWCASES or we may be able provide in certain situations for an extra fee.
• 4-wheel or at least AWD drive vehicle recommended for driveway during winter months
• Trash can be dropped off at 2154 bottom driveway of cabin next door in GREEN DUMPSTER
